Fermanagh Women’s Aid offers tailored support through a range of services.
We support women in their own homes (Floating Support), in our support centre in Enniskillen and in our Accommodation where women and children can stay on a temporary basis whilst they are securing their own or another property. We exist to safely support you and your decisions.
If you are aged under 18, our Children and Young People’s team can support you or, if you are aged over 65, The Safer Ageing Fermanagh Project will provide a tailored service.
If you are trying to decide whether to stay or leave, you may be feeling confused, uncertain, frightened, and torn.
The most important thing is your safety. Let someone know that you are leaving or contact us. We will help you to develop a safety plan.
If you are in immediate danger dial 999.

Violence against women“If it were between countries we’d call it war. If it were a disease we’d call it an epidemic. If it were an oil spill we’d call it a disaster. But it is happening to women, and it is just an everyday affair. It is violence against women.” Michael Kaufman, Canada
Who can you talk to?If you’re trying to decide whether to stay or leave, you may be feeling confused, uncertain, frightened, and torn. One moment you may desperately want to get away, and the next you may want to hang on to the relationship. Contact us for support.
Suspect abuse of a friend or neighbour?Has someone you know mentioned trouble at home with a partner, parent or someone they know? If you are hearing violence from next door, or suspect abuse of someone you know, there are things you can do to help. In an emergency always call the police! It can be very difficult to live in a family where there is domestic violence and abuse.
